Fiona Hu

Information

I’m Prof. Fiona Hu. I have been an instructor at RELI since 2014 and have been at Rutgers University since 2008. I have spent almost half of my life here at Rutgers! I decided to become a teacher after several friends and instructors encouraged me to do so and thus, my teaching journey began at weekend Chinese schools and observing classes through my coursework. While it has been a challenging adventure, I absolutely love being a teacher. I love the connections that are made with the students, always get excited seeing them improve, and admire the hard work my students put into their learning and everything I can learn from them! I cannot ever see myself not being a teacher or some way in education.
