Dr. Howaida Wahby Eraky is the Director of Intensive English @ RELI with the English Department’s Writing Program. Dr. Wahby Eraky has been teaching and directing programs in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for more than 16 years in the USA and Internationally. She has a wide experience in programs marketing and recruiting international students to face-to-face and online English programs.
Her expertise in ESOL includes curriculum development for English for Specific Purposes (ESP), English for Academic Purposes (EAP), Standardized exams preparation, Research Methods and Teacher Training for novice English teachers.
Dr. Wahby Eraky designs and writes different levels of curriculum for ESOL students. As a certified online Master Course developer, she also designs and writes online courses in compliance with the Universal Design of Learning (UDL). Her ESOL courses are designed according to the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) guidelines.
Dr. Wahby Eraky research focuses on Multimodal Discourse Analysis and Visual Grammar. She is a certified peer review editor. She serves among the reviewers panel of a number of university conferences including the International Symposium on Applied Linguistics Research of Prince Sultan University, KSA. She also advises on research papers, thesis and dissertations.
