Arete Bouhlas is currently an instructor for the Graduate ELL & ITA Program and the Undergraduate Writing Program in the Rutgers University Department of English, where she specializes in teaching English language learners, research writing, and business and technical writing. She also currently teaches public speaking at Middlesex County College. Before teaching at Rutgers, she was an instructor in the School of Communication at Kean University, where she taught subjects like public speaking, communication theory, business presentation, interpersonal communication and small group communication.
Prior to becoming a college-level instructor, Mrs. Bouhlas worked in the non-profit sector in public relations, event planning, and grant writing. She received her Master of Arts in Communication from the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University and her Bachelor of Science in Communication and Business from Monmouth University.
